We wake up and have to remember where we are. It’s Day 70 of our trip through the Middle East and Africa and we have seen and done so much that we are starting to lose track of where we are. We open the curtains and look out over a savannah. Oh yeah, that’s right, now I remember: we’re at the Bilila Lodge in the middle of Serengeti National Park. The sun is rising as we walk from our lodge to the main building, where we meet a group of Maasai security guards. They tell us that they are warriors who are here to protect us from the wild animals at night.
